COLLECTIVE
A directory of experienced, independent midwives working across London, Southampton and surrounding areas. The midwives offer personalised care throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Every woman who chooses a midwife from this directory for her care for has her own dedicated independent/private midwife to support her and her family as she journeys into motherhood.
From
convenient antenatal appointments at home and one-to-one care during labour (at
home or in hospital), right through to those crucially important first
our to six weeks with your newborn baby, your midwife is right by your side to provide all the advice, support and guidance you need as you settle into life with your new family.
All the evidence shows that this type of care leads to better outcomes and greater satisfaction.

We are a collective, a directory of midwives, not a company.
Neighbourhood Midwives’ Collective is a directory of like-minded independent midwives who are passionate about providing continuity of care for women. We are not a Company, Partnership or trading entity. We are a professional directory.
Each of the midwives in this collective work independently with a national organization that provides each of them with their policies, governance, training and indemnity (details of which will be provided by your midwife). This means that each works and is insured individually to practice as your midwife across the full spectrum of care.
This website gives you the opportunity to research many fantastic midwives in one location, and allows all of us a greater opportunity to reach potential clients.
