Neighbourhood Midwives are covered by full professional indemnity insurance (PII). This covers the entire care package we provide to you, right through from your booking appointment to your baby’s birth and postnatal period. It is provided by a leading global underwriter of medical insurance. The cost of this cover is included within the care package fee.
We have developed a comprehensive risk management system to provide safe and accountable systems of care for women and their families and we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
